Good question! I can't visualize the difference myself. I would like to hear if there indeed is a difference.

91 to 94 will work. The cut off on rangers is 93 though. I got my dash cover off a 92 ranger for my 93 explorer, where as the 93 ranger dash cover wont work on my 93 explorer.

'89 - '94 Rangers all have the same dash and it is more or less identical to the '91-94 Explorers. The Ranger interior changed for the '95 model year.
