I recently changed the heads on a 91 navajo, compression is good, listened to injectors with stethoscope, no problems. Replaced plugs and wires. However the truck has a hard time starting and it feels like I'm missing a cylinder. Compression check comes out ok, cat doesn't seemed clogged. When the truck is in gear it has an even harder time running. It feels as if I have a dead cylinder. It is really weird since the truck ran fine before the head swap now it runs really bad.

on second inspection....

I am getting a clicking sound from the ignition coil pack...but I can't see a spark. I tried looking at night and did not see anything....would a bad coil produce an audible clicking sound?

I'd start at square one blake, check all your connections. Anything to do with timing on that head change. Work back through the dissassembly and assembly. It worked before you did the head. Chances are it's something that changed on the reassembly.
