Dealer allocation

I thought that allocation issues applied to how fast a car got built. Does it also apply to how soon after a car is built it is shipped? Mine was built in early February and still at the lot awaiting shipping.

I am new to Explorer boards but what i have been able to piece together so far is that many of the Exporers built in Jan/Feb were on a quality hold and at this point there may be a back log and some shipping issues.

Maybe someone else can chime in?
