well a friend of mine has a 4runner. His 3 inch lift came with differential drop brackets so it wouldnt put stress on his cv's. I was wondering if it would be possible to buy longer bolts for the torsion bars and have tehm raised to 4 or 5 inches then use some type of drop brackets to take the stress off the cv's. In the back just use add a leafs and shackesles. If anyone has any info about if this would work or not let me know. If so how would i go about getting these drop brackets made.

Thanks

it would probably be cheaper and easier to go with either a 4" superlift or trail master lift. If you build brackets to drop the diff down its not going to be projected by the front crossmember and i cant imagine our front diff's could take much abuse.

Yup, you'd need to drop the entire front crossmember, which is basically what the 4" lifts do.
