naw, im looking for something to cover the diff (thanks anyway!!), not just the front of the vehicle......i know james duff makes a skid plate for the 8.8 for around a 100 bucks.

but i was wondering if any of you guys have seen a front differential skid plate that goes around the axle??

Hey if you find a picture of one can ya post a link for it? Or send me an email on it? My email addy is Isotrip@hotmail.com

I guess I am not exactly sure what it is you are talking about unless it is what a lot of guys around here call a "Wrap" such as a "Tranny Wrap" or a "Diff. Wrap".

Please and thanx in advance!:D

I've got this one on my X and have yet to have a problem with it. Install was a snap, and the price was cheap.

i saw a front skid for a 86-94 ranger.. which should be TTB right? it was in a off road magazine in an add... i wonder if it would fit explorers.. its like a full size huge skid plate it was sweet.. made by procomp

hey leebo, thats exactly what i was looking for!! you say you got that from BajaConcepts?? how much was it??

and Isotrip heres the pic of the james duff rear diff. skid plate...

priced at $$99.75$$

Beaston1, thanks for the pic, I am thinking that could come in handy with some of the things I have in mind for my setup! So I have added that to my wish list for Santa! (Even if it will be be-lated)

I checked out the BajaConcepts site but I couldn't get hardly any of their "button" links to work.:(

Any fab and welding shop should be able to make one to your needs. Look in your phone book for local shops.

Give them a call, I'm not really sure if it's listed on their site. As for the rear, check out Aval. Engering or try a search on this site, there's several places that make them. Best I've seen yet is the SVO

Does SVO have a site? I have trying to find them but been very unsuccessful.

LEEBO... just a thought. i am NO expert in offroading,, but i have a question/comment about your diff. gaurd. i guess the only thing that bothers me with your picture is this. it seems that to much pressure on the back of the plate could bend/tweak and make 1 or all of those bolts pop right off?? given it shouldnt happen but it could......

Boats. the 98+ were the rangers that have the Torsion Bars.

Pre-98 run with I-beams.
