2003 Ford Explorer xls
Hey guys, I have a 2003 ford explorer xls and i wanted to know, at what mileage point should i change my differential fluid? Also what kind of fluid does it take?:exp:

I am interested in this as well..

I would say 100K would be a good idea, maybe a little sooner. Most of us here do maintenance sooner than the manual tells you.

Front: 80W90
Rear: 75W140

I'm planning on using Royal Purple when I do mine.

Welcome to the forum! Changing out the fluid really depends upon how you use the truck. If you go out to the trails ever other week during the summer or go through a ton of deep puddles, you might want to change it out more often to keep the metal shavings down in the pumpkin. I would say every 50k-75k to best honest.
