Dipped Headlights dead

Hi, so just returned from a 300ml trip and turned my lights on as I neared home!!! No dipped headlights at all, the full beam comes on and after checking all other lights work as they should (didn't check the reverse light though). Any one experienced this problem of both dipped headlights stopping working. -- I've checked the fuses.

Check for power at the bulbs, then trace the grounds. Might be a bad hi/lo multi-switch.

or wires pulled out the back of the connector to that multi-function switch.

If it's the switch itself, some people including myself have been able to open, clean out oxidation and old grease, add a little dielectric grease and get it working again.
