I'm in the process of severely modifying my explorer and the rotors just seem to be shot. As we all know, the brakes on stock explorers SUCK! So, in my recent researching, I came across a company called Pro-Slot. These are some slotted disk rotors that boast of braking! I was wondering:

1) Do you have any experiance with this company, are they any good? Suggest some other companies along with your opinion.

2) What are some really good brake pads to accompany these new rotors?

3) Where can I get these parts for a cheaper price (About $85 bucks a pop! That totals $300 something all the way around!!!)

Welcome to the board.

I e-mailed the people at Applied Rotor Technologyhttp://www.appliedrotortechnology.com/ about a group purchase and I'm waiting to hear back from them. If we don't get a group purchase they cost $300 with pads for the front. If you do a search you will find a lot on this topic. Also is you go to group purchases you will see thread for slotted rotors.
