Distibutorless Ignition

I used to have a Mustang before I purchased my '91 Explorer XLT. One of the mods done on my Mustang has to add an aftermarket ignition system. Has anyone added one to their Explorer? The distributorless ignition prevents me from using the same system I had in my Mustang. Is this mod even worthwhile? I know that MSD is marketing a system MSD-DIS-4 for 6/8 cylinders engines. Has anyone tried it or any other aftermarket product similar? I thank you in advanced for your feedback!!

There have been some very interesting previous threads here on this subject in the past few months which you can search out.

The bottom line seems to be that even the aftermarket suppliers recognize that the stock Explorer ignition is a very good system and hard to improve upon except for wires and plugs.
