In my quest to make the interior of my X more comfortable, I came upon this wood dash kit. It appears to be almost factory (ie eddie bauer) without the cheap stick-on appearance of most kits and it's for manual hvac controls. Has anybody gotten this?

yea my explorer came out the factory with it and it looks nicer... theres a glimpse of the dash in this photo

As long as its a molded type it will look good. Just don't go with the wood grain stickers LOL!

I believe the one in the link is actually molded, not a thick sticker you heat up and press on. I wanted to see if anyone has gotten this and if it's worth the $300. I don't really care for the cheap ebay junk.
