I recently replaced intake manifold and like has been discussed there is no longer a stud to connect that black ground wire to that’s on the passenger rear side of the fuel rail. I know there is a post that talks about using a screw and a clamp but when putting on the manifold my buddy was helping me and tightened down the fuel rail without adding that and I don’t want to Loosen the fuel rail up again. Unless it wouldn’t be an issue to just loosen that one self tapping screw out to put the makeshift ground stud. But what is that ground for? Is it important for proper function of the engine? Or can I get away with not connecting it. I feel like it was put there for a reason and should be hooked back up somehow. Does anyone have any other suggestions on what to do with it?
