I've noticed different kind of rims look better on different types of cars/trucks/suvs. I agree with the curves on a 0 curve vehicle. Also, what gets me is when I think of an X, I see it with more off-road gear than blingin rims like that. Don't get me wrong, they are sweet rims, but in my opinion, not on a first gen X. A 2nd gen, yeah.
not exactly my cup o tea but if i see correctly they look like 20''s off of a 02+ dodge ram 1500. different but ok, still agree with more chrome and different paint to enhance it but all in all ok
It's hard to tell from poor quality photo. But from what I see, I'm with Spdrcer34 on this one. The rims are just too rounded for such a square car, and the shape of the spokes reminds me of flower petals. So I'd pass on these.

Same here.. When I look at the pic the chrome really stands out compared to the rest of the vehicle; My eye keeps getting drawn to the shiny, chrome rim and the style of the rims does look too curvy (IMO) on a 1st gen Explorer.. But as the others have said its your truck and if you like it thats all that matters..
Ok. I think that there are enough opinions on this for Texasboy to make a decision, so I am going to close this thread Before it gets out of hand.
Thank you all very much for your input.
