donkey boy's Ex-Defender

- Rome Georgia
- Originally from Switzerland. Born and raised in the German speaking part, but living the last ten years proir to moving to the U.S. in the French speaking part of Switzerland, in La Neuveville.

No more Xploder for me :( I traded it for the New Thing :D a Jeep WJ (Grand Cherokee)

How my Explorer used to be

- 1997 Ford Explorer XLT 4 door
- 4.0 l V6 SOHC
- White
- 1:3.55 gears

- BF Goodrich Mud Terrain 31x10.5-15 on stock rims
- Detroit EZ-Locker in the rear
- Westin Safari bar, mainly to protect the lower edge of the radiator
- Cheap Wal-Mart driving lights
- Garmin II plus GPS
- CB Cobra HH35
- HiLift Jack

- No running board
- No front airdam
- Chopped exhaust end-piece (just 2" shorter, but it helps)

The New Thing
- 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo (26E)
- 4.0 l I-6, NV 242, 1:3.73 axles
- 245/75-16 BF Goodrich All Terrain (work) and Mud Terrain (play)
- 3.5" Lift consisting of OldManEmu HD springs and Anthony's custom spacers
- JKS quick disconnects
- Mopar rockrails
- Pumpkin saver from Kevin
- Maggiolina Adventure Roof Top Tent
- some other stuff

So it doesn't get crushed, bent or mutilated while wheelin'.
