Well, I spent a couple of hours yesterday performing the fog-lamp wiring mod so that I could turn my fog lamps on with only the parking lights on. The mod worked great, and now I can turn on the fogs without the headlights. But, now I have a different problem.
The door ajar circuit seems to not be working anymore. The dome lamps do not come on when the door is open, the chime does not sound, the door ajar light on the dash does not come on, and the puddle lamps on the rear view mirrors do not come on when I unlock the doors. The dome lamps and map lights will work on their own switches. Does anyone here know what could have caused it? Could I have blown a fuse poking around in the wires? Any suggestions on how to fix this would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.
