Door ajar switch fix

I was surfing Youtube the other night and came across this video. Kinda long, 30 min, but worth the watch if you are having any door ajar or any other electrical issues in your driver door.



I am gonna try this when I get my Mountaineer back from the shop.

FIXED my 03 Explorer.
Forget the first part of the video.
Look in that Wire loom in the Door jam like he does. You have to get the rubber boot off/down like he does.

I did it recently- sure enough, that large black was broke, and another wire too. Spliced a section into both- FIXED!!
