Door beeping

OK guys I need your help. My mom has a 2000 Chrysler Concorde. Well when she unlocks or locks the doors with the keyless entry the right rear pass. door makes this beeping sound. Its the actual door, something inside of it. And she said that sometime you cant get the door open. Is it the lock actuator? Does it need to be replaced or is it a bad connection. I dont understand how a lock actuator can make a beeping sound, that sounds so clear its coming from a speaker. And what the.... its a 2000 it should need lock actuators replaced.

Can anyone help? She had got the extended warranty when she bought the car, so I told her that she should take it in and see if they will replace it. But she said that she isnt going to because she is going to trade it in for a dodge durango in a few months. I think that she should get it fixed if the warranty will cover it, that way it will look better when she trades it in. No?
