door handles?

i have a 2002 xls 4 door

recently in this cold weather were having, about -45 C, 2 of my door handles broke off.

my drivers door and my rear passenger side door handles both broke.

now, what i`m wondering is, From ford they come in 2 sets, front and rear.

Would the front passenger side handle fit on the rear passenger side door? they both look the same and they both don`t have key holes. it would save me some money if it fit, then i could just buy the front set.

what do you guys think?

Can't directly answer your question but I'm sure you'd be able to sell the handles you don't use if forced to buy both sets.
You might also try to hook up with someone parting out their truck or Ebay.
I have to say it must be pretty damned cold for those handles to break.
