Double Din installl

Has anyone installed a double din deck like a Pioneer Avic D2 in their sport track?

My roommate has an 02 and was looking to get one. I know it seems a little small of a space but what would be required in modification to the console to get it to fit?

And if anyone has done it some pictures would be great.

Yep, the interiors are identical between the '01-'05 ST's and the '95-'01 Explorers. Search can bring up quite a bit, but here's a few:
