Will a double din cd player fit a 2nd gen exp???

it should the stock radio is a double din

actually you will have to just a little trimming to make it work- but its not too tough if you have a dremel tool

I think double din is the only way to go. The single ones leave to much empty space there IMO.

Hi I just changed the deck in my ex and put in a din and a half because the double din was to big! Chek it out before you by the double din adaper!

Where do you plan to re-locate your Radio and A/C and heater controls? Man, you are going all out on this. Very nice!

Double dins will go -

Use a dremel like Expo said, and a piece of black plastic to make a new faceplate to go around the radio. Not too hard...

Expo - are you having to fab the dash plate to the dash? It looks like you are making it to where it will not be removeable?!?!? Will look clean when finished!

not it just screws on exactly like stock!

i plan on adding another couple of screws up on the top- but for now this is all i have holding it on and i've been driving it all week and running my system hard with no problems. it doesn't even pull forward when you yank on the top of it. someone did a great job of designing that piece of plastic in the dash where the bezel attaches.
