so where most to all my work has been done is here.at 130000 miles i lost oil pressure,so out with the motor.the first built yea there has been more than one,i just did headers,.20 over,410cam,,smith brothers pushrods, delta rockers, i fab intake and efan.the 2 time i put 95tm heads with 988 springs, underdrive pulleys, manacore wires, accel coil pack.the 3rd time witch is what im on right now ive done 422 cam,p+p heads, true 10:5(heads shaved),p+p lower and upper intake, bbk 66 throttle body,SI portflow valves, wrapped the headers, and a high flow oil pump.
9/11/12 newest.its got MANY upgrades but the basic is a GM M90 intercooled supercharger :)

anyone know where i can get an automatic all ALUMINUM radiator from?right now im thinking of getting a manual one and using the ac radiator as a trans cooler,i dont have ac!!i think separating the two would work better and i can mount everything to the ac one like my other trans cooler and oil coolers and small fan to it and not run the risk of my main fan hitting the straps for it.here is the one im looking at right now

what do you think would cool better 2 rad or 1 with 2core
Posted via Mobile Device

not sure. I thought the whole idea of the two core was to allow the heat of the engine coolant to help warm up the tranny fluid in wintertime. We don't exactly live in the arctic circle though, so your idea of using the a/c condenser as a tranny cooler would be great I think.

I'd say the cooler you can keep your A4LD the better so I'd go with the two separate ones

nice x

yea i would see no need for it to warm up unless you just start it and get right on it witch i dont i always remote start and let it get warm before i start driving.yea im going to try it out and see what happens it seems like as long as it dont drop below 130 i should be good.yea those artic rad are nice but for $330 i think ill try the manual one for $150 and its an inch or so thinner.everyone that ive talked to have said the cooler the better for the a4ld.im also going to a 160 thermostat to help with pre detonation

too MaximumViolence, good deal.just waiting on the valves, should be in teu.talked to my guy today and he said he finished the intake,he said there was a ton off stuff he took out 4 hours worth.he charged me $200 for the porting on the intake.he said that it should flow twice as good and should really make a difference.im going to take some pic of the valves and the lower intake and post them up hopefully tomorrow.hes still got to machine the heads and shave them down also.3 weeks is when i plan on putting this thing back in the truck.but that also depends because im wanting to have the upper&lower intake done in black chrome powder coat or something thats close to a shinny gun medal color(what im going to paint the truck) and the valve covers done in chrome.but for now ive been replacing the doors and fenders on the driver side from when i rolled it over on its side

new SI valves

well my new valves are here and man they are nice.they are SI portflow one piece valves.the heads thickness is way less and where it goes up to the stem is not as fat, also they are about 5grams less each and said to flow 5% better.they were $138 to my door and the part numbers are sev2027 and sev2028

hey those stock valves look familiar :D those SI pieces look nice...I see why they call them "swirl polished".

haha those are yours.yea man they do look good.i just got back from dropping them off at the shop and he said the same thing he was surprised by how much different they are.and man he really went to town on that intake,he had to take out some of the sides to really be able to open it up.im not to crazy about having some spots epoxied but he said hes done it a 1000 time and thats the only way to get some of the bends out and get it to REALLY flow.i told him if it comes loose or falls out the truck will be on a tow truck at his shop for him to take apart and fix if there was a problem and he said he was fine with that and he would let me use his truck till it was fixed.so that made me feel a little better:biggthumpo hes got a SICK BUILT HEMI truck

bada$$...your truck is gonna sound MEAN when you get it done...take vids!!

Don't know if you got a plan already for tuning (if you need it) but my SDS might still be for sale when you get around to that....it's even got a built in timing retard feature for NOS

yea there is a place down here and i hear they are sick with there tunes.i would luv to have that but its out of my rang right now, tryn to get these 4.88 and lockers done!!that should make a huge diff since i got 33s on there now.yea when i get done with all that i got a old set of stocks tires that i plan on melting off the rim and will vid that!!hahah stock tires and 4.88 and my motor just sounds like fun!!! hhha

so ive got the heads and my intake back now and man there is a big difference in the two.i also had .020 taken off the heads or 3cc.he had to come through the sides on some of them to get them to flow and open up,last pic

well i dont know witch way im going now.im thinking about painting the covers gunmetal and having some blue gost flames airbrushed, then a clear powdercoat over it all.then have the upper intake powdercoated in the same gunmetal color.the truck will be painted some day the same color
