- 2005 Explorer XLT 4WD
I have a 2005 Ford Explorer XLT 4WD with Leather, DVD etc. 54K Miles.
We were on vacation last week and noticed that the power drivers seat will not move up in the front portion. It will move forward and back, as well as the rear will lift up and down, just not the front. So basically it is stuck on the floor. It is not a problem for me, but my wife is much shorter and needs it higher. When I press the switch I can hear it try to move for a second, but it does not go anywhere. The whole plastic peace that has the switches is also coming away from the leather seat some. We have had no problems with the seat until this. Could this be like what I have read with the seat being stuck at the terminal end of a movement/position?
Any help or ideas on this are greatly appreciated.
