drivers door window acting up

I had my door panel off my truck for about amonth while painting my ex. when I put my panel back on my window worked fine but the other day It wouldnt go up for me when i put it down. I had to shut the truck off then start it and the window went bacvk up. Now i noticed when i put the window up the motor still runs for a few seconds after it is fully up has anyone else had this problem or know what the culprit is?
