Drivetrain Problems after battery replacement

I replaced the battery in my 02 Explorer ( 138K) today. It now has developed a pulling and thumping noise when turning to the left. I had felt some vibrations like a tire rubbing or scrubbing, but now this has gotten to the point that it will not even turn in its own radius either direction as it did before.

I drove it about 150 miles yesterday, and replace the battery this morning. The problems started immediately after putting the new battery in.

Any ideas here, my research is point to differential problems, but with the new battery putting full voltage out maybe that affected it ??

By not turning do you mean you can't turn the wheel or it makes noise?

Also, 4wd, awd, 2wd?

Motor?

stock tires, aftermarket?

color even? Something please.
