Anyone use them? I used to have a couple set up that would let me process a whole directory of raw images at one time. I set it up to resize to 640x480, auto correct, sharpen and save.

Only thing is I can't get the process to work again. :confused:

Any suggestions?

Sorry, but I always associated eggdrops with IRC/shell scripting. For image manipulation, I generally use generic Photoshop/Gimp scripting, but for what you are describing, I use Imagemagick (Win or Linux) launched from a batch file or shell script. It's generally faster and more reliable that GUI software and it can do so much more.

EX:

Code:
for %%F in ("*.pdf") do (
  iconvert -density 300 -resize 640 -interlace PLANE -unsharp 0.4x0.3+1.2+0.10 "%%F" "%%F-done.jpg"
)

That will convert from PDF, resize to 640x480, change to progressive Jpg, apply an unsharp mask and rename every PDF in the directory.

Thanks for posting the link to the FAQs. This is good to know. One thing which I could never figure out is why a hyperlink (highlighting a word, and adding a link) does not work in my AOL software since the software upgrade, but works on any other browser. It will apprear as if it's working, but it doesn't save the link into the text.

I was mistaken. Eggdrop was the wrong name. I am trying to make a "droplet" in Photoshop.

Rick, I've never used that before, so i'm not sure what all the options are, but from what I see in PS is this.

File>Automate>Create Droplet

I just use Irfanview to do my batch work, seems to run quicker than PS, and it's a free download.
