Today I meant to switch the explorer to 4WD auto mode but accidentally put it in 4WD low and the light was stuck on the dash and I couldn't get it out after. I was on my way to getting an oil change and was almost there. I ended up having to drive 2km to my mechanic with it in 4WD low mode doing 60km/h. I pulled over into a wal mart lot and was finally able to get rid of the light by putting it into N then switching from 4WD low to 2WD. Just worried I did damage?

You always have to be stopped in neutral with your foot on the brake to shift in/out of low.
As for damage, I’m sure it wasn’t good for the front end, but if you broke something, you’d probably know it.

Thanks. I always shifted in and out of 4WD auto in the past by just stopping the car. Never had to throw it into R.

Anyways my ABS light now just came on. Not sure what that means

You can shift from 4 auto to 4 high and back again by stopping. 4 low usually requires stop/neutral. I wouldn't worry about it - if 2 klicks was enough to damage it it already had problems. I will occasionally put mine in 4 low and drive a block or so just to give the parts a workout and make sure everything stays coated in lubricant.

You’re probably fine. 60km/h is like 35mph. Above the max speed I believe (I think it’s 25mph?), but engineers typically add in some slop.

ABS is almost certainly unrelated

unless you did something to hubs, should be alright... thats the only 4wd related abs thing i can think of... should be fine though!

At least you blew some carbon out of the engine.🤣
