ok when i start the truck after sitting for a while it will crank stay for about 2 seconds then die. if i crank it right away it will start and die immediatley about 3 times before if starts and stays running the only other way to do it is start it ans keep the revs of if about 15 seconds then it stays a idle no problem. and as long as i dont wait 3 hours in between starting once warmed up it starts no problem only when the motor is completly cold does it have this problem. can anyone give me suggestions on what it could possibly be. no check engine light at all ...

Sounds like a bad/sticking Idle Air Control valve to me.

I have / had the same problem, Def. sounds like the IAC, altough my new did not last very long before acting up again!
