I am looking to install an Eaton Limited Slip and I was wondering the difficulty involved. I tried a seach but I couldn't find much. Can anyone point me somewhere and give some info on what can be expected?

I'd like to tackle this myself, but if time proves to be a concern I'll have to have someone else do the job.

Thanks for any help on this one. I'd like to get it in before the 19th, but I'm not holding my breath on it!

Well, I woulda said search it, but ya already have... So, I'll say what I think I know... I'm 95% sure, Alec has one in his X... maybe that'll help a search... or you could contact him

I had it done. The guy said it was one of the easiest installs he'd ever done on a rearend, that the unit and directions were great. However, IMO it's still one of those things that you need all the right tools and need to be pretty good. He did say it took some experience and skill to set the proper backlash. Good luck if you try it!
