Hey, i just installed this intake a month ago, my review; was kinda easy to install it, you probably take more time taking out the stock box than installing this new kit, it comes with everything except the nuts and bolt, now it comes with 2 small bars just to attach it to something you can find near, i did a twits on that bar and used the screw of the cooling system and so far no problems with that. Now i did notice an improvement and you can heard sucking lot of air!! for a 50$ solution its just right!!!

I twisted that little bar in a wierd way to attach it to something but it works, ill buy a better bar later.

looks good

what type of coolant do you have there? It's too full as well, you need room for expansion in the coolant reservoir, there should be a max fill line, I think its about half way up..

thanks ill check that out today!

what did you do with the 2 hoses that go to the factory intake?

It comes with a mini filter so you just put that filter, directly to the it no big real!!! easy job as i say on installation, you will spend more time probably removing that old box than installing the new system. So take an hour prob no need for being a pro doing mechanics, also you will see how hard is to get air into the system with that box and say wow what an adventure, LOL

I have one mounted than took it off,I'd sell for $45 shipped.

Cant beat the price

yeah, its a nice mood for the price, I Say

Nice this is the one i'm gettin ready to buy. For the price you can't beat it. But what i was wondering was what nuts and bolts do you need? Does it at least come with the clamps?

Should come with all the clamps, nuts, bolts. Usually with the lower priced kits like these, the brackets are generic. You will have to modify like above.

you might need to bend it a lill bit or see if some were else you can find the bar twisted and the proper length, i bend it up, but the nuts and bolts dont come with the kit, they are about 45 cents so 45:45 cent project mood!

Does it change the sound of the engine at all, it claims to give a throatier sound. And I'm wondering if u slapped a k&n filter on it, how much of a difference would it be to an entire k&n system :p

It should give it a different sound, but I want to know what kind of change in power it gave you.

you will heard the throttle sucking more air wish is nice I take it to pass inspection and the guy keeps looking to the hood cause of the sound, also you will see a nice improvement on acceleration and reaction when you push the pedal, I have it with the same filter as it cames with, no need to change it to a K&N and no plans for a time, probably ill buy the cleaning kit from K&N and clean this one before spending some $ on a K&N
