On our '16 XLT, 140k, the sunroof glass quit doing anything AND the front map lights only come on now with the keyfob (unlocking). The rear cargo (center overhead), and 2nd row left/right map lights now are inop. Furthermore, and has to be related, the rear 2 door windows will not roll up from the rear door power switches.

All this at the same time. Never had any issues before.

Sunroof headliner/sunshade runs back and forth just fine for both glasses though.

The interior fuse #23, red 10 amp, was fine, that would HAVE been too easy. Figured that would have also killed power to the sunshade/headliner motor.

Welcome to the Forum.
Did you also check fuse #27 30A - moonroof?
I wonder if water may have found its way into the area of the motors which also may have affected the map lights. Both the shade and glass use separate but identical motors. Do the map lights come on when you open the door?
Fuse #38 is for the rear window motors but also for the front driver's window.

Map Lights do not come on when doors are opened....
:(

It's my wife's vehicle and she works out of town M-F. I'll try and check that 30amp interior fuse #27 tonight. 👍

Ford engineers COULD HAVE placed/positioned that interior fusebox in a better location!!!

They did, but you have to get a 6th gen Explorer. I agree 100% on the 5th gen.
