Empty Gas Gauge-slosh-wiring

I'm back and even more frustrated. After months of trying to find out why the gas gauge reads empty I thought I figured it out. I poked around the wiring hoping to find an short. The gauge did go to the expected level but immediately back to zero when I moved the car. I poked around some more and the gauge reads full even though I know there's about a half tank. Some times the needle will wave around half and full. I've read much about the slosh module but I cant find anything in the cluster that resembles any of the descriptions in previous posts.

Did you ever locate the discontinued wiring pigtail (2L2Z-9B357-AA) listed in the TSB?
