I have a '98 Mountaineer, 5.0 V8 AWD, and it feels sluggish during acceleration, and feels like, if I force too much pedal, that something might break, and the throttle pedal is resisting.Transmission fluid is fine. Also, starting to feel a grinding in the pedal. I need to know how to diagnosis the problem, as this is my only vehicle.
