Engine stalling

Hey, guys!!! How it going? I just bought a black '99 Explorer XLT w/ 156,000 miles and I just love it !!! One thing I notice is that the engine feels & sounds like its stalling. I just can't figure it out. Any thoughts on what it could be? Thanks a lot !
