I just bought a 14' Ford Explorer Sport 3.5 twin turbo. I understand these are great SUV's but some people have problems with the PTU, turbos, waterpump & timing chain. It has 80,300 miles on it.
From the research I've done the warranties change drastically after 80,000 miles. The longest premium care plan I can find is 3 years and the longest advanced care is only 4 years. Is there an exclusion or a way to waive those 300 miles to get me the ESP options for vehicles under 80,000 miles?
If I put my miles at 79,000 then 4-6 year plans become available.
