Im assuming its the manifold cause i get a ticking noise under acceleration and when engine braking.

Is there any way to quickly find where the leak is so i can see if it can be welded. I'm also curious as to whether or not it is only the gaskets cause under a visual inspection i cant see any cracks or holes.

My main question is still how to find where the leak is. I dont see any black marks on the manifold, i checked all the bolts to make sure they were tightend to the right torque, ETc... i just dont wanna buy a manifold if i only need a gasket and would like to diagnose it befor i tear it apart. :(

i thinks its the passenger side, mine does it too, tightening it might help

If you have a OHV engine, I have 2 manifolds for sale or trade. Put headers on last year. My wife and/or I will be in the Garner NC area around Memorial day weekend.

But to help you now, I don't think you wanna be welding to plug leaks, right? I don't think there are any gaskets on stock manifolds. This is a stretch, but if you have access to a fire dept with a good CO sensor you may be able to pin point the leak a bit closer (at least which side it's on!), but if there are no visuals you have to go by sound. Get a mechanic's stethoscope and probe around the manifold while running and see where the noise is coming from. Good luck,
