Expedition Rims on 98 Explorer?

Anyone have any experience with putting 17" Expedition rims on an Explorer. I've got a 98 EB with stock 16" rims and tires and have found a good deal on 2004 Expedition rims with new, stock 265/70SR17's. I do some light off road stuff, mainly on the beach and the stock Explorer rims have been OK. Any issues with upgrading? Anyone know if the wheel spacing on the Expedition and Explorer are close enough (I've already ready replaced the front wheel bearings once and would like to avoid it again). I'm not interested in anything radical, just a cheap upgrade for less than the price of replacing my stock tires.

Thanks,
Ray

Does the Expedition have the same bolt pattern? I think it may be different cause its full size.
