Expedition w/full independent suspension!?!!

I just read in Automobile magazine that the 2003 Expedition is gonna have a fully independent suspension, just like the new Explorer. What's happening to all the Ford SUV's?!?!?!

does that mean the Lincoln Navigator will have IRS too?

i dont really like the new ford SUVs. if i was going to buy a brand new SUV, i'd go for either the Grand Cherokee or the Tahoe.

if i get another used SUV, i would like to find a nice 2001 Explorer Sport or XLT w/SOHC V-6.

ford is throwing away all the good offrad trucks and turning them into minivans..... they will sell more minivans....
