Explain the numbers for this alternator?

I was told by Mr. Alternator that I have the 130A alternator. Is that peak? If so, what is idle?

That means that the alternator is capable of producing 130 amps if you have enough electrical stuff "pulling" 130 amps. It only puts out what other stuff is asking for. A good 130a alternator and good wiring system should be able to produce that even at idle.
