I need to see what the suspension parts look like and a diagram would be very helpful. I have severe squeaking coming from my front end all the time. Turning corners, rolling over small bumps, even just pushing down on my front end when the vehicle is parked. I'm trying to figure out exactly what needs to be replaced.

Lift the front wheels off the ground supported by jack stands under the front facing lower control arm "hooks". Much easier to diagnose worn parts and noises with the suspension unloaded. First parts to usually fail are the lower and upper ball joints, sway bar frame bushings and end links. Inspect ALL rubber parts that contact metal and spray them individually with penetrant using the spray straw to source the noise. In a pinch spraying water also works. GL

I meant to type '99 explorer into the subject line. Also I have never tried to replace any kind of front end parts in my life. I don't think mine is AWD.

While not difficult, brakes, steering, and suspension are best left for those with experience. Lot's of help here, and many first timers have succeeded, but please be careful. Many reputable shops offer FREE written front end inspections, call around. Use it to your advantage and report back here with a detailed list. GL

Please complete your vehicle specs.
