Earlier this morning i went out to drive my explorer and it started up great and i sent my wife to work and came back home. I shut the car off and locked it with the remote and gone home withouth thinking anything. Well i just now tried to unlock the car with my remote and somehow the car does not have any power at all? I put the key in the ignition and it doesn't make any noise what so ever. It almost seems like there is something that just all of a sudden cut power to the whole car. If anyone has ever dealt with anything like this any in put would be great.

On yeah, i have a 03 awd 4.6 limited with only 88,000 miles and already giving me hell.

Thanks

did you try jump starting it?

Mine started doing that, I have about 89k. Went to Wal'Mart... (never been to that area) and they checked the alt, batt, and found the neg cable was loose... I guess the bolt was stripped and just coming undone... fixed it, no problems since.

use the key to unlock the door, pop the hood, jump it, then check to see if you left your lights on :P

sounds like a light left on or battery cable that lost connection

Thanks for all the reply guys. Well after mins of running around and checking things it was only a loose battery cable that made my battery go bad. I had to go buy a new battery and it started right up like a champ. Hahahhahah it had me worried there, now i have to go deal with that wheel bearing. Maybe my warranty will cover it....

Thanks guys
