will explorer rear leaves work on a ranger. Other than the alignment pin needing to switch sides and the explorer leaves having more arch, are there any difs? Thanks!:p

I'll let you know tomorrow, I'm going to use a combination of Ranger/ Explorer springs to hopefully match the rear of my truck to the front, which should be 8" of lift, I might be able to swing it with my 2" stx Blocks

I asked this question on a ranger site, I was told by someone who already swapped them, that the springs will bolt in, only need to flip the center pin. It will raise the rear about 1 1/2 to 2 inches. Hope this helps, by the way his truck was an '88 and he swapped in '91-'94 4-door springs.

I just recently had to swap in Explorer leaves to control my axle wrap. The leaves will raise the rear about 1.5 to 2". Not really sure as I also swapped in the 8.8 with 4.10s and Detroit Locker. I will say that it does stiffen up the rear quite a bit. I loaded the back down with about 1000 lbs of scrap engine blocks and other junk, an it only squatted about .5". The old Ranger leaves would have dropped about 3".
