Hey I have a question of opinion for you all. I'm toying with the idea and I'm not sure which look I like better, and I'm getting mixed reviews from all my friends, So I wanted to see what the general consensus amongst all of you is...Which do you like better? With Headlight guards:

I know it's "my truck, do what I want" I'd just like to see what others think

Why 4.10s? If you're rebuilding axles, you might as well go 4.56 or 4.88.

I like them with headlight guards.

Depends on if you go offroading where there is alot of brush, tress and bushes. Since you're in Jersey I would think most places to trail are just like Pa. and would be worth keeping them on.

I like it either way but it comes down to functionality of the headlight guards.

I completely agree with Offtrac on the gear ratios there UWBadgers27, I'm running 4.10s with 35's, and it dogs down pretty good, and the speedo is off by 5.. When I had the v6 and running the 35's it could use more power, soon as i got the v8 it helped.. but i'm still regearing to 4.56

after my $400 mechanic bill yesterday, my offroading days are far away until I build funds back up in case i break stuff again. but if i do decide to go out, they would definitely be going back on.

@ Govna 47
I also like the look of it with them on.

Well the axles came geared at 4:10 already so i just decided to leave it. I'm going to a dana 44, 4 link next year so i think that running 4:10's for how much off roading I do would b fine. Right now i'm at 3:73 with 32's and it seems fine for me. If the 4:10's with 35's run about the same then i'll just stick with it when i go to the dana 44. This truck is my daily driver for about 6 more months. After that i'll be buying another truck and then i'll go crazy on my suspension and such.

My biggest fear is the 4:56's being to high for highway driving since i do alot of camping in which requires a far drive on the highway. Who ever wants to chime in on this be my guest. The more the better!!!

UWBadgers27 4.56 with 35's will actually give your lower rpms than your 3.73 with stock size tires

ok so you'll actually be about 100rpms higher at highway speed. my bad

See that's what I was thinking but this guy who has a lifted jeep said id b screaming down the road with 4.10s with like 33s. I kind of knew that wasn't right. Well I guess its time to learn how to regear. Any ideas how much that'll run me?

nice sports u guys got there

Not much of a fan of Black sports with Graphite Flares til today--Nice & Clean Diamond33! What did you do with the Nerf Bars that are removed in the 1st pic?

A 4 door "Sport" - IS this a Canadian edition? Dont remember seeing any 2nd gen's like that here in States, the 4 doors usually have chrome bumpers etc. And it is a 5.0, I think I just fell in Love.... Again.... Chilkoot
