If i buy rims for an '01 sport trac 4wd, will they be an exact fit for my '01 Explorer Sport?

The bolt patterns should both be the same, maybe someone else can comment on if the offset or backspacing will cause the wheels to stick out any further.

This thread really isn't the place for this discussion, but.....yes, they will fit, both vehicles use same suspension and axles.

The '01 Sport and Sport Trac actually had the SAME wheels available.

If you have the base model wheels/tires, but want to switch to the upgrade wheels/tires, they will bolt right on.

Thanks for the info guys. Here's my '01 Sport with some mods done to it. The side pic is to show how dark the tint is. I got pulled over in Georgia because of it and the box that says the percent of tint read 1.8%! Awesome! :)

Last picture is from before i lowered it another 2 inches.

Looking for a 4.0 OHV. Mine is on its last legs. 18 lbs of boost for a year has taken its tole.. :(

I like the way you have your sport sut up it looks very good. How did you lower the rear of your sport. I used 7" f-150 4x4 rough country lift block.

I used a 4" drop block from the local oreilly auto store with the stock rear shock plates onto top the leaf instead of under. Works very well other than the occasional axle to frame hit. The frame needs to be C Notched, but that isnt on the high priorty list for now. My #3 piston is no longer with us.

Just a quick question for you 18psiexplorer.

What kind of rpm do you turn on the highway at 70? And what rear gears you running? i remember you saying something about 3.73's in your other thread but im not 100% sure if that is correct. Mine has the stock 3.08's in the rear and turns 2200-2300Rpm on the highway at 70.

It only cost me about $100 to buy the steel and another twenty for the paint. If you got the manpower its cake. Its definitely worth it though.

Thats seen better days. It looks like you hit a pole.

I actually bought it like that. The guy drove off the road, down a 10'+ dropoff, hit a tree, and THE AIR BAGS NEVER BLEW!!
I bought it to swap the SOHC into my 95.
