Explorer Sport Running Boards

Hey,
I did some searching and I cant seem to find much. I am trying to get some stock running boards (nerf bars) for my 2002 Explorer Sport because of the GF and I found some from a 1999 Sport online for $50 and I wanted to know if anyone knows if they will work for my 02. Thanks for the help.

They should fit as the only thing that change on the later sports was the front & rear end body design. Are they off a California Soprt or a non snow belt sport. If not they will be rusted. I have seen Explorers here in KC where the tubes have rusted completely through.

I just installed a set of Westin bars on my
2000 Sport. Had to go aftermarket because
all the stock bars I could find were rusty.

Just an option in case you can't find any in
good condition.
