I have a 1993 XLT that has seen better days and owners. Some of the 'fixes' have been more towards "just make it work" instead of "fix it right the first time". I'm sure I'll find some interesting and creative things done to this poor machine. I am looking forward to getting some experienced advice as to how to make this a proud machine once more.

Welcome aboard. If you don't have a good service manual (Haynes or Chilton's)get yourself one(they don't always have everything but generally they are a good starting spot) and post up your other questions here......
