extended driveshaft

i plan to put a 5.5" superlift with a SOA in the rear on my 94 explorer
will i need to get an extended driveshaft for this high of lift? if so, how much do they cost?

I had to. Well, I didn't have to, but my driveshaft dropped out twice before I did and hasn't dropped since. I have heard that some people haven't had this problem, so I guess you might be ok, might not.

It cost me 116 bucks, here's what it looked like afterwards:

well i found a welding company in the phone book that does "drive shaft manufacturing". I guess i will have to wait till i get my truck lifted to know whether or not i need an extended drive shaft
