exterior plastic trim.

I have an 06 xlt and would like to do some modding. The ex is light gold/champagne colored with the brownish colored plastic trim, I believe electrician has the same color. I would like to paint the trim, roof rack, grille and that little Chrome insert on the tailgait a gloss black. Any suggestions on this color scheme, would the contrasting colors look good and has anyone done this with their trim with that color ex?

you cant go wrong with black in my opinion. but everyone does black. but then again, black is a safe color for trim!
