no special tools needed just your normal everyday wrenches, it's a pretty easy job you might need a jack to get everything to line up.

Thank you... from what i am reading it seems these things break quite often. I know my front end thumped when I turned wheels hard right like when pulling in driveway. I am assuming it was the link going out. Will be replacing and will let you all know how I did. Thanks again

I replaced mine (broke when I hit a major pothole on the highway). I fixed mine in the driveway without jacking up the car. Takes 20 minutes tops. I believe it's a 16mm bolt.

Mine both exploded on my first trip offroad.

I hope there is a better after market link that don't break like i have been reading. Sounds to me like something Ford goofed on LOL

I got replacements from Autozone with a lifetime warranty, so if they explode again I don't pay a dime. :D

That being said, I don't think it covers offroading, hahaha

That is what I am doing too. Hopefully nothing else on the front end goes. These links have been making the ready to break sound for a month now.

stabilizer bar end link

:us:Have another question concerning these worthless end links. I dont know much about suspensions or the noises they make but what causes the clunking noise when these things break?? I am curious cause i cannot seem to place where the noise is actually coming from. Thank you ahead of time. Hoping my fellow explorer members can help me out:us:
