I have a 1999 XLT with factory alarm, I can set the alarm and set off the alarm from the key fob, but the alarm will not go off when it should (i.e when the alarm is set and a door is opened from the inside). Is anyone familiar with this problem? And know how to fix it without getting raped by the dealership? I've checked the fuses but thats about all I could think of.
I am also thinking about having a remote start installed, has anybody had an good/bad experiences with certain brands or models?
