factory amp bypass

ok, i got the little plug in thing that bypasses the factory amp, and now i need some help getting to it. i've already broken the two small little punch in things that hold the rear panel but i was able to get the larger ones out with no problem...i'll just have to get some more at the dealer i guess...anyway now i'm at the seatbelt and i cant figure out where i'm gonna find a star bit that big...how did you guys unscrew the seatbelt from the...wall?

Well, first, you gotta have a Ford mechanic for a neighbor like I do. Then you have to just knock on his door whenever you need to borrow anything. Easy!

Of course, if you're not as fortunate, I think it's a 25mm Torx bolt (could be wrong). I know body shops have these tools, maybe they wouldn't mind taking it off for you. Car audio places would be another sure thing, since they remove panels all the time. I broke a couple of those plastic retainers too. You gotta buy 'em by the bagfull for $10 at the dealer. The good thing is that there is a ton of them in that bag so if you break more (in my case, that'd be when, not if), you have a ton of spares. Good luck!

well i found it at discout auto, and i went ahead and installed it...i wasnt expecting much of a change, but i put on some rap and it hits MUCH clearer now...it sounds much better...just thought i'd let you guys know how it went
