Factory CD changer

Hi guys , I've got a '97 X with the factory CD changer that acts up all the time. It will not play cd's sometimes.Says theres no cd in the changer when there really is. When it does decide to play it sounds really scratchy and distorted for a while and then eventually clears up and plays okay until you let it sit for awhile and then back to the same as mentioned before. Where can I get a aftermarket changer that will hook up to the factory harness? Don't won't to run a new changer control cable if I don't have to. Thanks,

hey, i pulled mine out of my 98' ex sport last april because i put in an aftermarket cd player.....ive never used it because i never have had the cd cartridge..the guy i bought the explorer from said it worked fine the last time he used it, he just misplaced the cartridge....i'd be more than happy to sell you mine for $25 plus shipping i can make pics and all if you'd like
